Most pet turtle diet consists of fresh fruit and vegetables. I really look forward to getting a pet turtle!But i still dont know what kind of species to get.I wonder how big a yellow bellied musk turtle grows to be.i'm still not sure what turtle i should get.but i will.one day. hopefully.

When I was a kid, it was fairly common for kids to catch turtles (not sea turtles) and keep them as pets. They were actually fairly hardy from what I can remember, and they only stayed the size of the tank that they lived in. Looking back, the size of the tank was far too small and they should've had more room to swim/walk in. Useful info, thanks!
